In many cases, we are contacted by federal agencies that are faced with an aging and rapidly-retiring employee base. We are often charged with capturing and codifying institutional knowledge. Typically, as we work with SMEs in specialty areas, our team of instructional designers are charged with developing a typical multi-level course and certification program for implementation.

PEG believes in a systemic approach to customer service. In addition to customizing the courses to reflect the mission, vision, and values of a hospital or healthcare facility, we know that the effort is unlikely to succeed in the long run without also being integrated into the recruitment practices, the orientation program, and the performance appraisal process. As always, we begin with a needs assessment, analyzing customer and employee satisfaction surveys, and interviewing senior management, supervisors, and employees. We develop separate courses for employees and management, with the latter focused on how to support and sustain a culture of service excellence. We have found an approach that truly works!

Our private industry clients vary greatly. The services we provide do as well. But there is some commonality in the services we provide these clients. Customer services is paramount to future success. Employee recognition is important to the retention of employees. As most work is conducted in teams, the value and processes of building a team are often analyzed and developed. Board meeting facilitation is important to progress. As is the case of all organizations, data analysis and summarization is critical to the lifeblood of the company. In these times, diversity is an issue we also discuss with companies.
